Ticker

A ticker is a short instrument symbol (e.g. AAPL, CEZ.PR). The same issuer can have different tickers by market.

A ticker is the instrument shorthand at a data source or exchange. Examples: AAPL, CEZ.PR, CSPX.L.

The same underlying can have different tickers by venue and quote currency. Keep a consistent symbol in your trade ledger.
